Bird Watching along Henteleff Park Trails

Welcome to Henteleff Park, an oasis of green space in today’s Winnipeg suburban sprawl. The Red River, the only heritage river located on the Prairies, meanders alongside the Park and is the backdrop to a wondrous display of plant and animal species. Located in South St. Vital, across the river from the University of Manitoba, this remarkable piece of river-bottom forest is being preserved by the Henteleff Park Foundation so all can enjoy this unique jewel within our urban setting.
