Dear friends of Henteleff Park:<\/p>\n

We hope this email finds you happy and well in this very difficult time.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, there is a little bad news which will be followed by some good news.<\/p>\n

Annual Tree-Planting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is with great disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of the (2020) tree-planting at Henteleff Park.<\/p>\n

The tree-planting is a time that we look forward to most in the year, as it brings together the community, the Foundation and representatives of the City of Winnipeg, the Province of Manitoba and the Federal Government for a morning of coffee, donuts, conversations and of course, planting trees. Under the current circumstances, however, such an event is impossible. Nonetheless, the park is open and we encourage you, your family and your friends to visit and enjoy!<\/p>\n

And now the good news!<\/em><\/h4>\n

TD Bank Friends of the Environment Grant\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are very happy to announce that the Henteleff Park Foundation received a generous grant from the TD Bank Friends of the Environment program. This grant will be used for the purchase of trees, shrubs and other necessities that keep the park vibrant and beautiful. We wish to thank the TD Bank program for their commitment to environmental preservation and natural enhancement.
