The Henteleff Park Foundation board will hold their Annual General Meeting  on Monday, June 23, 2014. The general public is invited.

LOCATION: The Waterfront Condominium – 1960 St Mary’s Road

TIME: 7PM

To enter, please walk from the parking lot to a section between the two condo buildings. A board member will be waiting to let you in.  See image below for a visual of the location.

HPF would like to thank the board members of the Waterfront Condominium for the availability and use of the room.

On this pleasant evening stroll, we will walk through the park along the developed trails, view the prairie restoration, flowers, trees, butterflies, insects and wildlife. Join us and bring your curiousity!

Naturalist Marilyn Latta, of Nature Manitoba, will be your guide at the park.

Meet at the parking lot at 7 PM

Bring your binoculars and join Gord and Jaye Grieef for an early morning walk around the park. These Nature Manitoba members have documented over 60 species of birds in the diverse habitats that the park has to offer.

Learn to identify bird species by both sight and sound with help from these expert birders. Come along and see how many different species you can spot!

Come and join us to plant a few trees! Bring your friends, neighbours and family to our annual community event. Last year we had 75 people participating. We have lots of trees and shrubs ready, so we’ll see you there!

Join naturalist Marilyn Latta, of Nature Manitoba, for a leisurely evening stroll through the park. We’ll check out the flowers in the prairie planters and prairie restoration and then wander farther back in the park. Although primarily a plant walk, we will look at birds, butterflies and anything else that runs, flies or crawls by!
